Mauro Alejandro Mol

Argentine dancer and teacher offering detailed, practical tools for connected social tango.

About the teacher

Teaching tango through connection, movement and music

Mauro Alejandro Mol is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher who brings depth, precision and a strong social-dance perspective to his work.

His teaching examines the mechanics beneath comfortable and expressive movement: axis, dissociation, embrace, timing and the way partners exchange information. Technical ideas are translated into practical tools that dancers can use with different partners and in varied spaces.

Mauro encourages students to move beyond imitation and understand the choices available within tango. This creates dancing that is adaptable and personal while remaining respectful of the partner and the ronda.

As a visiting teacher at Tango Amistoso in London, Mauro works with dancers who want to deepen both their technique and their understanding of Argentine tango as an improvised social dance.
