About the teacher
Teaching tango through connection, movement and music
Diana Cruz is an internationally recognised Argentine tango dancer, teacher, performer and movement educator whose work is admired for its creativity, physical intelligence and musical depth.
Her teaching draws attention to the extraordinary possibilities of the dancing body. She helps students develop coordination, balance, articulation and dynamic range while keeping movement connected to the partner and to the music.
Diana creates a generous environment for experimentation. Precise exercises are used not to impose one style but to give dancers greater choice, confidence and expressive freedom in both social dancing and performance.
During her visits to Tango Amistoso in London, Diana teaches classes and workshops, works closely with the community and shares performances that reveal her distinctive ability to make even unexpected moments deeply musical.
