About the teacher
Teaching tango through connection, movement and music
Ariel Yanovsky is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher whose work is deeply connected to the social tango culture of Buenos Aires. His teaching combines lived experience of the milonga with a clear and thoughtful approach to movement.
Ariel helps dancers understand how posture, embrace and intention create communication inside the couple. Rather than treating figures as fixed patterns, he explores how movement can be adapted to the music, the available space and the partner in front of you.
His classes are valued for their humanity as much as their technical depth. He encourages dancers to listen, experiment and develop a tango that feels natural, musical and genuinely shared.
Ariel visits Tango Amistoso to teach London dancers and enrich the community’s ongoing conversation between tango tradition and individual expression.
