Argentine tango in London

Discover Argentine Tango in London

Argentine tango is often described as a conversation without words.

In a world of constant distractions, tango offers something increasingly rare: the opportunity to slow down, be present and connect with yourself, the music and other people.

At Tango Amistoso, we believe tango is about much more than learning steps. It is a social, creative and deeply rewarding activity that brings people together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether you are looking for a new hobby, a new community or simply a different way to spend your evenings, our beginner courses provide a clear and supportive introduction.

No experience required No partner required Just bring your curiosity

More Than a Dance Class

Learning tango gives you time to move, listen, create and connect with other people. Our courses introduce the foundations carefully while helping you feel comfortable within the wider Tango Amistoso community.

Why Learn Tango?

Meet New People

Many students join on their own and quickly become part of a friendly and supportive community. Some come for the tango and stay for the friendships.

Learn a Beautiful New Skill

Argentine tango is an elegant and expressive partner dance. Our courses are carefully structured so complete beginners can learn progressively and with confidence.

Take a Break From the Noise

Tango requires presence and attention. Many students describe their weekly class as a chance to switch off from work, screens and everyday pressures.

Improve Confidence and Connection

As you learn to move with the music and communicate through the dance, you can develop greater confidence, awareness and social ease.

What Makes Tango Amistoso Different?

Tango Amistoso means “Friendly Tango”.

We have created a welcoming London tango community where people can learn, practise and socialise. Our focus is not only on good teaching, but also on helping people feel comfortable, included and supported throughout their tango journey.

Our beginner courses will help you:

Learn the foundations of Argentine tango
Feel comfortable dancing with different partners
Build confidence on the dance floor
Become part of a friendly tango community
Continue through regular classes, workshops and social dancing
